Terms of Service

1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Kreads (available at kreads.app) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or prominent in-app notice at least 14 days in advance.

2 Description of Service

Kreads is a web platform that uses artificial intelligence to generate video advertisements. You provide a brand website URL and the service automatically generates brand profiles, scene concepts, AI-generated images, voiceover scripts, and video clips, which are then composed into a final MP4 video. The service is provided "as is" and the specific AI models and features available may change over time.

3 Accounts & Eligibility

• Age requirement: You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm you meet this requirement.
• Account accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and to keep it updated.
• Account security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at lorenzofenderico.dev@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4 Credits, Subscriptions & Billing

• Credit system: Paid features (image generation at 3 credits; 5-second video clips at 100 credits) consume credits. Brand analysis, scene ideation, scripts, and voiceovers are always free.
• Subscription plans: Credits are provided via monthly subscription plans (Starter, Business, Agency). Credits are reset at the start of each billing cycle; unused credits do not carry over.
• Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. By subscribing you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
• Cancellations & refunds: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to your remaining credits until then. We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused credits except where required by applicable law.
• Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before a price change takes effect. If you do not cancel within that period, you agree to the new price.
• Failed payments: If a payment fails we may suspend your access to paid features until payment is successfully processed. We will notify you by email and make reasonable efforts to retry the charge.

5 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Kreads to:

• Illegal content: Generate, upload, or distribute content that violates any applicable law or regulation, including copyright, trade secret, defamation, or obscenity laws.
• Harmful content: Create content that promotes violence, hatred, discrimination, self-harm, or that sexualises minors in any way.
• Deceptive content: Produce deepfakes, misleading advertisements, or content designed to deceive consumers or impersonate real people or brands without authorisation.
• Spam or abuse: Use the service to send unsolicited communications, conduct phishing, or disrupt other users.
• Platform abuse: Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or circumvent the platform's security measures, rate limits, or credit system.
• Resale without authorisation: Resell or sublicense access to the Kreads platform itself without our prior written consent.

6 Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

• Your content: You retain all intellectual property rights to the brand assets, URLs, and materials you submit to Kreads. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process this content solely to provide the service.
• AI-generated output: Subject to payment of applicable fees and compliance with these Terms, you own the final video ads and other AI-generated outputs produced by Kreads from your inputs. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of those outputs complies with applicable law, including third-party IP rights.
• Kreads platform: All rights in the Kreads platform, brand, software, and proprietary technology remain with us. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of our IP to you.
• Feedback: If you submit suggestions or feedback about Kreads we may use it without restriction or compensation to you.

7 Third-Party AI Models

Kreads integrates third-party AI services including Google Gemini, Google Vertex AI (Veo), OpenRouter, and FAL AI to generate content on your behalf. By using Kreads you acknowledge that your inputs are processed by these services subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the outputs of third-party AI models and make no representation that such outputs are accurate, original, or free from third-party rights. You should independently review AI-generated content before using it commercially.

8 Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific result or output quality will be achieved. AI-generated content may sometimes be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purposes; always review outputs before use.

9 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kreads and its affiliates, directors, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. In no event shall our aggregate liability to you exceed the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability; in such cases our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

10 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if required to do so by law. Upon termination your right to use the service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time from the account settings. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including IP ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.

11 Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Kreads shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Kreads regarding the service and supersede any prior agreements.
